NSS Unit “Prabha” of Government Degree College Ramgarh, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare Samba, SANKALP: Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti, Samba hosted a rally of all women bikers “Women Motor Biker Expedition” under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, (Drug-Free India Campaign) and Women Empowerment which was organised by Shakti Udghosh Foundation (SUF). The programme aimed to spread
awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and promote a drug-free society. The event was organized under the able guidance and support of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the
College.
The special highlight of the event was the Women Motorbike Expedition, covering stretches of the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC), redefining safe boundaries under the theme "Ride for Strength, Break the Chain, Say No to Drugs, Let's Sustain" symbolized breaking boundaries to fight against drug addiction and empowering women in the process. During the event, the riders interacted with students, educating them on the significance of staying drug-free and the impact of addiction on individuals and communities.
