MEDICAL FACILITY

College maintains first aid facility in the college for students and staff. The service in the college is looked after by Dr. Shamsher Lal. In case of emergency patient will be shifted to Government Community Health Centre Ramgarh.

GAMES AND SPORTS

Games and sports are an integral part of any institution and contribute in the overall development of the students in terms of healthy mind and body.. After through screening, students are selected and trained for various tournaments at college as well as University level. Extraordinary players are considered for the award at end of the session. Games are played regularly and every student is encouraged to play at least one game. The students are provided with all necessary facilities like equipment, uniform and refreshment for practice session as well as during the tournaments. College teams are announced on the basis of rigorous selection process.

PICNIC AND SUBJECT TOUR

In order to reduce the pressure and tension, picnics and outgoings are planned which provides students with the chance to get rejuvenated with the fun and recharge them again for their schedule academic life.

To get acquainted with the background of the theoretical knowledge, subject tours of various subjects are arranged every year. They are exclusively aimed to impart the practical knowledge among the students. Field surveys with respect to economic status etc. are also carried out as a part of academic activity. This is an academic exercise which makes the students familiar with social and cultural heritage of the adjoining areas and state.

INTERNET BROWSING CENTRE

The college has a well equipped Internet browsing centre. The Internet can be used to advantage for knowledge acquisition purposes by serving as an alternative to scarce and outdated books. There is a significant difference in the academic performance of students with Internet access and those without. The Students are allowed to access information through internet during the college hours. The college browsing centre has seven computers, online UPS and DG set.

Students are allowed to browse four hours in a week, with a maximum duration of one hour per day. (However with prior permission, they can use for longer period)

Students are not allowed to:-
Change Desktop settings.
Play computer games.
Chat Online.
Students should report to the Supervisor, if any problem occurs while browsing.
Students should not shut down the system after browsing.
Students should leave their belongings in the cupboard kept outside the centre.

COMPUTER LAB

The computer lab serves as the center for teaching computer use to whole classes, usually by a specialist computer teacher. Classroom teachers also use the lab with their classes for research, or for creating technology-based projects. The college has a well equipped computer laboratory with 11 computers and on line UPS.

1. Students are prohibited to enter the lab unless authorized by the teacher.
2. Scan diskettes before using them.
3. Report all problems related to the system to the teacher.
4. Do not attempt to repair lab equipment.
5. Be responsible when using equipment, software and facilities in the lab.
6. Do not move any equipment from its original position.
7. Do not remove or load any software into the computer.
8. Do not change the settings in the computer. 9. Save all work in external storage device and not in the computer.
10. Do not bring in bags, food and drink into the lab.
11. Turn off the computer accordingly after use.
12. Switch off all power supplies before leaving the lab.
13. Internet facility is strictly for educational purposes only.
14. All users should record the use of computer in the computer log book.
15. The lab should be kept clean and tidy at all times.
